Join Patrick and Ross on a walkabout in their neighborhood of Bushwick, Brooklyn. They grab a coffee, visit the dog park (where they are creepy dog voyeurs), spy on one of their favorite listeners (Hi, Kiersten!), and process the departure of some of their best friends from New York (farewell, Jen & Bay). Oh and Patrick hops a fence to collect $20 he saw with his eagle eyes from across the park. We hope you enjoy this more experimental episode of Who Cares!
It’s time to talk about these god damn abortion bans. Predominantly conservative white male legislators across this country are making decisions about female bodies, and the hypocritical snow ball effect knows no bounds. Ross does some research on exactly what these laws mean and where they’re taking place, all while mocking these men and their terrible southern accents. The Who Cares duo hope that by using the small platform they have, they can at least spark conversation and let people know how they can take action. Ross is not interested in being “ofPatrick” and she hopes you feel the same. We’re in this together! Here are some links to a variety of articles and organizations that will keep you informed and tell you how you can make a difference. We love you, keep going!
Happy Mother’s Day, y’all! This week we take some time to thank all the mamas out there. Mothers can be biological, surrogate, adopted, chosen, or any other way you can think of someone becoming a MOTHER. Ross and Patrick start by celebrating the women who birthed them into existence, Betty Ann and Jane. Listen in as these two moms make guest appearances on this week’s episode as Ross and Patrick make their mother’s day phone calls. Come share in the love! Matriarchy Now!
Ladies and gentlemen put your hands up and your dollars down for Nefertiti!!! She is a fellow wardrobe stylist and a good “Judy” of Ross.’ Take a listen as she explains her love for beauty, makeup, and glamour. And boy bands. And Selena. And RuPaul’s Drag Race. And Motley Crue, and Red Hot Chili Peppers, and Tupac, and Murder She Wrote, and Columbo. She’s a complicated woman, ok? She’s got taste and opinions and she’s not afraid to tell you all about it. Nef has come to the Who Cares recording studio to spill the T, and throw the shade (when warranted). Enjoy!
Ross and Patrick are recording in bisolation again! Do you wish they had a guest? Well they don’t, so get over it. Separated for a week, they’re using this episode to hear about each other’s respective adventures. Patrick was on the road in New England and Ross was hard at work in Bushwick. Join the gruesome twosome in the “studio” and find out how their doing post “Argument” Episode Heard ‘Round The World.
This episode starts in the thick of an awkward relationship conversation. A bit of a tiff. Ross and Patrick are cranky and tired and on different emotional pages so they decided to bring the listener with them on this uncomfortable journey of challenging communication. It’s an inside peak into the highs and lows of marriage. Sometimes couples have to hash some shit out while they podcast because there’s no time like the present, right? RIGHT?! Also, they were too busy to record any other time, sooooooo… Wanna hear what 8 years of commitment and knowing everything about each other sounds like? Have a listen!
We totally and absolutely care about Justin and Caitlin. This hilarious couple met in the comedy rooms of NYC and fell for each other while doing karaoke. They’ve lived in Queens and Brooklyn and over the last couple years have dealt with some real “Life on Life’s Terms” shit, writing material about it and supporting each other all the while. They’re intelligent, incredibly funny, emotionally open, and they’re devoted fans of 90 Day Fiancé. What more could you want?!

Finally! Danielle, a virgo, promptly arrives on the podcast and spills all the T. She is not only a teacher, wife, and mother, but she’s also a well read pop culture queen. Join Ross, Patrick, and Danielle as they take a walk down memory lane and discuss how this chosen family truly began and withstood early sobriety in the hipster capital of the world, Williamsburg, Brooklyn. Despite Ross’ hatred for pop punk, love still thrived.
We met Giorgia Lupi at an upstate NY yoga retreat two summers ago and we’ve been fans ever since! She’s a talented artist, designer, dancer, and conversationalist. In this episode we hear all about how her mind for beautiful order took her from making sense of her grandmother’s cluttered tailor shop to having her work featured in the NY Times and the permanent collection at The Museum of Modern Art.
To say that this woman is inspiring is an understatement! Maryam Ajayi is a trailblazer in the wellness world. Specializing in reiki and breath work, she’s working hard to make healing and self care inclusionary and accessible. Never shying away from challenging conversation, she has written thought provoking pieces for medium.com and has begun holding monthly salons to discuss diversity in wellness. Maryam also spills the “T” on her former life as a republican and how she plans to bring about change in the business world through intuitive energy work. Ross and Patrick thought about asking Maryam to create a thrupple but instead just decided to have an incredibly interesting chat. Join them, won’t you?
